When I encode a divx gordian knot's GUI has single pass greyed out. I can only select both first or second.

Is this a bug in the gui or do I have to set something up in the codec properties? Im using divx 4.12
Thanks,

If you want to encode with only a single pass...

1) you could just use Virtual Dub for DivX 4, or Nandub for DivX 3, and set up compression any way you want to.

That would be the easiest way.

2) From within Gknot, you can edit the .avs file, which Gknot allows you to do prior to starting the encoding session. Look for the "edit" button while setting trim and resize filter options.

You could do this too, I suppose.

Well, i think the easiest way would be to configure everything in Gnot, then simply save the avs, and then open it in Vdub, and encode from there, that is if you want divx4.

i always do two-pass encodings, but I was just curious as to why the single pass option was greyed incase I ever need it.
