Hi Folks :)

When I try to run BD-rebuilder I get an error message box with title "FFDSHOW not configured" and a message saying that BD-rebuilder can attempt to confugure my system for me involving making changes to the Directshow registry. I click yes and then get a message that my windows 7 system has been successfully configured to use FFDSHOW with BD rebuilder.
Great I thought.. but every time I run bd rebuilder I get the same message and have to go through the same process all over again.
I dont know what i did as it used to work no problem..but I am now somewhat retiscent to use bd rebuilder in ernest whilst this anomoly exists.

Yup, I am a noob so be gentle with me please :)

What can I do to correct this?

many thanks,

Night...

Think I found the solution..I renamed FF_RESET.BAT and reran BD rebuilder, the same message appeared as above. I then closed BD rebuilder
and ran it again voila no message!! It fired up right away :) I also noticed that BD rebuilder had created another FF-RESET.BAT but this time it doesn't invoke it for some reason.

It fired up right away :) I also noticed that BD rebuilder had created another FF-RESET.BAT but this time it doesn't invoke it for some reason.FF_RESET.BAT never gets executed. It is there only in case (for some reason) you want to reset your system back to its original settings.
