an own irc channel?

I currently have the possibility of getting my own irc channel, botnet and everything would be set up but I don't just want to own my own channel because it's cool... I'd like to get people there or not do it at all.

So, is there a demand for a doom9 chat on irc?

Yes, me and UHT are regular visitors to #pcdvd atm - but that only allows for MPEG, not proprietary codec's like ASF or DivX. Count me in!
