Dgindex iDCT Algorithm

Hello. I'm backing up my DVDs to Xvid avis usind Dgindex to create d2v files, inputing them to Gordian Knot to select the right resolution and calculate the size of the rip and the encoding is done in VirtualDub. I was wondering about what iDCT to use in Dgindex, is there any quality difference between 32-bit SSE2 MMX, 64-bit Floating Point and IEEE-1180 Reference. I have a Pentium Dual Core 2.5 processor at the moment, i will replace my PC with a newer one with Core i5 processor. Thanks

There is no "best" iDCT. See here (http://guru.multimedia.cx/the-mpeg124-and-h26123-idct/) for why even the slowest "reference" is often worse.

So For me it would be better to use 32-bit SSE2 MMX because this on uses optimizations on Pentium4 processor?
