Hope the question is clear enough. I have some authoring software which is very good but is only supports 4:3 output. When using a 16:9 source, it compresses the video and when I manually set the TV manually to widescreen the picture is displayed 100% correct. The problem comes when watching on a 4:3 TV. As the flag is not set to 16:9 the DVD player assumes the picture is correct and does not Pan And Scan the picture.
I therefore need to be able to change the 4:3 flags in the IFO's to 16:9 so the movie will be compatible with all TVs. Any ideas??
I tried IFOedit and VOBedit and these either do not allow this or I can't figure it out.
TIA
