Hi all,
i have installed Windows 7 Professional from 2 days on my Quad Core PC.
The previous Dvd-Videos that was on my external HD, without codec and without Nero (i don't want install no Nero and No Codecs), don't have a files association, for this i can not read/see the files ifo - vob - bup in the video_ts folder on my pc.

There's some player that will allow me to associate the VIDEO_TS folder files and allow to see the VOB-BUP-IFO directly from the folder like Nero Show Time was before uninstallation?
I have triyed with QuickTime and Real Player but both don't have associate the vob-ifo-bup file and i can not read it.
There's another software(if should be free , should be better) that will allow me to read these files and associate it to the software?

Thanks

Media Player Classic Homecinema can be set up to be associated with any type of file you want (ifo, vob, bup, whatever).

But if you want to read a DVD (or a DVD folder), you just need to open the VIDEO_TS.IFO file in your player.
Why do you want to associate your player to BUP and VOB files as well?

MPC-HC also has an "open directory" option that allows you to simply select your DVD folder without having to go in and actually have to open the IFO file.

Hope that's what you're looking for. :)

We can't see your attachment, until it's approved by a mod. Use ImagesHack or similar service for screenshots. Also on Win7 the DirectX version is 11 :p

Is better to uninstall this software.

The only mode to solve this, is to run the DirectX end User RunTimes (August 2009) 103MB , i'm in dial up, will end the download this night! :(

I have seen this solution video too :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4VnX49gIGA

But why microsoft include all the DirectX EU RunTimes in a single pakage? Who like me is with a dial up can not download the files, or will be necessary a lot of hours! :(

@Sworm

Have you as yet tried VLC?

Yes, installed VLC,
good software and read the DVD-Video Files,
but the only problem is that VLC have got only 1 "function menù" , have got only the main DVD menù.
MPC HC have got Main menù, title menù "radice menù" etc etc .
With VLC i obligated to see all the initial extra of the DVD. :( , With MPC HC i can jump directly to the Title Menù without to see the initial DVD Extras.
