So I'm trying to rip a certain DVD and the video runtime turns out to be 1 hour 27 minutes while the audio runtime is 1 hour 26 minutes. This wouldn't be an issue but the audio is not in sync with the video. I've run into this problem before but I can't remember how I fixed it. Can someone help me?

Perhaps you didn't decrypt it properly and there are a bunch of unreferenced cells in your VOBs - cells that should have been removed. If they're at the beginning, one way is to use the [ button of DGIndex to start in somewhere after the beginning. Scroll in a ways until the black frames turn to active video. Then set a new beginning, create the D2V and get the audio.

Either that or decrypt properly from the beginning. Or correct the delay in the finished video. How you do that depends on what output format is.

What movie and region is this?

This was Scooby-Doo the live action movie from 2002, region 1

Oh, then it probably doesn't have any advanced copy protection. Assuming the delay is constant (the same all the way through), I think I'd just correct the delay in the finished video. This guide explains how to find the delay:

Since it's for fixing delays in DVDs, unless you reencoded for DVD you'll have to actually fix the delay another way. We still don't know the output format so no further instructions can be given. But maybe you already know how or can figure it out.

Actually, thanks to your previous posts, I decided to re-rip the DVD, except this time, I only ripped the main movie instead of ripping the entire DVD. The audio and video match now. Thanks
