View Full Version : Audio Delay question

I use DVD2AVI for frameserving and AC3 demuxing. I've got an old Bond DVD of which the demuxed AC3 track shows a delay of -280ms. When I finally muxe the video with the mp3 and enter the delay above, the audio is in my opinion playing too early. If I muxe it with zero delay then I think it's playing just right.
Thus my question, can I trust the delay value DVD2AVI indicates or may it be wrong. This is already the second movie, where I got this problem.
btw I used BeSweet AC3toMP3 audio encoding without ever having touched any delay settings (if there even are?)
Thanks for any hint

That's pretty interesting:) Not sure why it's working like that for you but I wish mine would.

Yes, you can trust the delay DVD2AVI gives you but I'm still not sure why you dont have to use it on your setup. Anyone know if BeSweet is building in the delay to the MP3 somehow?
