OK... When you highlight a video file on the PSP and hit the triangle button, you get 3 options... Play... Delete and Information....

for example... under information on video files I have bought from the PS3 store I get...

Resolution:720x480
video AVC 2000 kbps
Audio AAC 256 kbps
Sampling 48.000 khz

But... on video files I have encoded I get this...

esolution:720x480
video AVC - kbps
Audio AAC 256 kbps
Sampling 48.000 khz

I am assuming that because x264 encodes are not constant that the psp is actually getting the bit rate info from some place in the header of the .mp4 container itself????

Question #1 How do I write this info to the mp4 container on video files I encode????

Question #2 Is there a way I can embed my thumbnails into my video files? So I do not need a separate image file in another folder.

Hi!

This appears to be pretty much a duplicate of a thread that you started earlier:

I had thought at first it was my encoding now I do not think so. I think it is more about what gets written to the container. Was just trying to be more specific in my post. Was not sure if/how I should change my old post that's all.

Was not sure if/how I should change my old post that's all. Figure it out. Thread closed per rule 8.
