I am trying to convert DV AVI files to SVCD using the new version 1.0.6.

The files are Microsoft DV AVI Type 1, which will not load in DVD2SVCD so I convert them to Type 2 with Canupus DV Converter. These files load into DVD2SVCD fine. I'm using PAL system.

The process works smoothly and goes through CCE fine, but at the beginning of the bbMPEG phase I get an error message

"Input file 'Pulldown_Encoded_Video_NTSC.mpv' was not found"

The file created by CCE from my PAL source is called 'CCE_Encoded_Video_PAL.mpv'

Why is bbMPEG assuming a pulldown NTSC file?

Has anyone else found this or has anyone found how to overcome this.

DVD2SVCD is the best program I've seen. If I can use it successfully to convert my AVI files too it will be the icing on the cake.

Hi Partner100!

Same problem here :-( Seems that using PAL is a crime nowadays.

When trying to convert a DV-avi, wich I converted also to type 2 as you did, I get the same message from bbMPEG. I get the same result when I try PVA2SVCD, this did not happen with an older version of DVD2SVCD!

Something broken inside :-(

Hi,
i captured with my pinnacle DV10plus an video with pinnacle mjpeg-motin codec and PCM 44.1KHZ uncompressed audio.

i have the same problem the CCE works fine, but bbmpeg does not work.
"Input file 'Pulldown_Encoded_Video_NTSC.mpv' was not found"

I muxed the CCE_ENCODED_VIDEO_PAL and the BESWEET mpg-audio-file manually.
but in the end, the audio file runs faster than the video and
the video stays on the top!

then i convert the video with virtual dub into a divx-video and the video is ok after i converted it but there is still an error:

"Input file 'Pulldown_Encoded_Video_NTSC.mpv' was not found"

i think i have to do all steps seperatly.
