CCE Simply Stops

Almost every time I rip with DVD2SVCD, CCE 2.5 simply stops during encoding. The progress bar stops, the time remaining value doesn't move. I've had this happen on a laptop (PIII 866/192 RAM) and my desktop (PIII 866/512 RAM) with no other proggies running. I end up doing crash recovery or starting from scratch and hoping it doesn't stop again (it still does).

Why does it just stop? How do I resolve this?

You should post your log file. One of the moderators should be able to help you after he sees your log OR offer some possible soltions.
