Here's the thing. I'm using SW a lot and in previous OS (XP, Vista) i could have xvid (or divx) movie opened in MPC and edited subtitles in SW simultaneously. In other words: i was checking subtitles timings in MPC, edited them in SW and the result was applied to the movie immediately.
Now in Windows 7, i have to reopen the movie file to apply the changes i made to subtitles in SW.

I'm using latest version of k-lite codec pack - the same i used in vista, plus the latest version of SW.

Anyone has any idea how to fix that problem?

Thank you!

The difference might be due to DirectVobSub versus the internal subtitle renderer of Media Player Classic. DirectVobSub automatically reloads the subtitle file when it detects a change. I am not sure if MPC does the same. So if you are using the internal sub renderer, you could try disabling it, so that DirectVobSub gets used instead.

Thank you clsid.. obviously i didn't have exactly the same version of MPC as previously in Vista. So the problem was that default mpc output was set to use internal subtitle renderer. I just changed that and the problem is solved.
Thanx agan..
