I want to do some stress testing on the new Archos Android device. I want to see what kind of limit there is to 720p high profile playback capability.
I don't have the unit yet, but I got a person who got the unit to do some basic testing for me. I want to know how to do this before I get the unit, so I spend more time enjoying it.
It seems to have a buffer, I don't know how long. It played a sample video (look at the snapshot below) perfectly, but when I tried the Crowdrun footage encoded to 13Mbps, it can't play it smoothly.

How do I test the limit when there is a buffer?
Let's say it can sustain a 7Mbps video rate, and 15Mbps peak for 2 seconds, is it possible to adjust VBV to that?
