I recently installed Fedora on my computer as a replacement to Windows and need some help finding DVD ripping and video encoding tools for Linux. I've been using DVDFab Decrypter as my primary dvd ripper, and the normal set of tools for encoding: avisynth\megui\virtualdub\mkvtoolnix, etc. I've installed the mkvtoolnix rpm, but I'm not really sure what other tools are available for Linux that are suitable replacements for my Windows tools.

Any advice is appreciated!

Maybe the stickies at Linux, Mac OS X, & Co (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?f=63) subforum can be of help.
