I have Black Adder, which is one DVD with 6 half hourly episodes. Is there a way of ripping with DVD2SVCSD one episode at a time ? What is the best way of doing this? Will this be similar to ripping two episodes to a CD?

On the coversion tab there is a drop down. If each one appears to be the time of the show then most likely each one will need to be ripped by itself. You just set the dropdown to the one you want. If that is not the case and it shows the entire 6 hours which I doubt then you might be able to rip just the chapters that apply to each episode. Doing it this way you will end up encoding each episode by itself and only have 1 epidode per Cue file.

I did what you said markrb, but that does'nt work
i was working on pokemon the movie r2 pal, and it contains
the movie, a bonus movie, a trailer, and an music video.
i see them all, in the dropdown box, selected the bonus movie,
and started converting, but it did encode all the contents,
my 1 cd rip of the bonusfile, grew to a 3cd rip of all the contents.
did i do something wrong dvd2svcd?

P.S. i am using DVD2SVCD 1.0.6 Build 1, and on request,
i can post the log.

In this case you will need to rip with SmartRipper and you will end up having to guess what the right angle is. After you are done ripping with SmartRipper making sure to put the files in a temp directory set DVD2SVCD to rip again, but this time from the temp diectory and continue as normal. Once DVD2SVCD has finished with the ripping you can erase the temp directory.
There is a guide for SmartRipper on Doom9.

Thx mark, but i used the guides on making a dvd-r from doom9's site,
copied the whole dvd, and striped all things i did not want with
ifoedit, ended up with a vob & ifo with only the things i wanted,
and gave those to dvd2svcd, works good too
