Hi everyone....

When I use TsMuxer to create an AVCHD file the audio is out of sync by a fraction of a second.

Here are the steps I’m taking, also I’m placing the blu ray content onto dual layer DVD's:-

1) Got a Blu Ray rip of Gladiator in a MKV file format (21GB)
2) Imported the MKV file into TsMuxer - changed the level to 4.1 - split the film into 7GB parts (So it can fit onto 3 dual layer DVD) - Output mode is M2TS Muxing
3) For each 7GB m2ts file I used TsMuxer again to output it into a AVCHD format.
4) Used image burn to burn them to disc (Used UDF 2.50 mode)
5) End result got a 3 dual layer discs with Gladiator on it

Now comes the problem, lol

When playing back disc 1 on a PS3 & BDP-S350 the audio is in sync but when playing back disc 2/3 the audio is out by a fraction of a second for some reason. I played back the original MKV in VLC player and the audio is in sync, it’s something to do with TsMuxer when it splits the movie as disc1 was fine???????????

Hope I explained it well enough and haven’t confused you all.

Has anyone else had problems like this? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Used tsmuxer again this time i didnt add any splits, end result was a single 21GB m2ts file. When playing that back the audio is in sync for the first hour then it goes out of sync for some reason.

you can try to split it in 3 .mkv parts with mkvmerge BEFORE importing in tsmuxer...

@neovo88

Hi!1) Got a Blu Ray rip of Gladiator in a MKV file format (21GB)What software and procedures did you use to create the .MKV?

One of the reasons I'm asking this is because when I ripped and converted my BluRay disc of "Gladiator" to MKV, the size of the movie-only .MKV was approximately 30GB.
