Hi, I'm just wondering if you guys can help me tidy up my file. I ripped etc. Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, episodes 1-4, they are all in one big file. What I want to do is to split them up and take out the "coming next episode" etc. I read the virtual dub thing and it says you can only do on keyframes... which seemes to be every 300 frames.. What I'm wondering is if there is ANY way to get around this. I'd like cleaner etc. files while splitting up the big one into 4 smaller single episode files, but if there is no way, I'll be happy with little bits of uhh... garbage before etc... Any help would be appreciated.. (basically I want splits at specific frames, not just keyframes).

you can split at any frame you like, just its not overly advised..you will run into problems if you try and recombine and various other things i cant remember.
just split at any frame u like, watch the beginning and end of ur files and if u think its fine and ur just keepin em for urself (which u should be) then thatll do nicely

Is it possible to do it in VirtualDub??? I tried to do "set selection start" and "start selection end", at specific frames (550 and something else) and when I do save it, it goes from the keyframe, at I believe 300 frames... is it possible to force it to go from 550?? With VirtualDub preferably or if not possible, any program.

Do ALWAYS split at key frames. If the frame you're going to split at is not a key frame, the reencode the small clip from this frame until the next keyframe. Won't take long, and you'll get clean results, although the reencoding step decreases the quality for that small part.
