I've ripped many of the blue-ray movies in my library and they've all been very straight forward. I always found that the largest .mts file ripped from the disc is always the full movie and all the other .mts files are previews, warnings, etc. that can be discarded . .
Today I ripped a blue-ray movie and found that the files are very confusing. First of all, the movie is broken up into several .mts files that aren't even in the chronological order of the movie.
Second, there are identical files that have the exact same audio format, video, and duration. . . . Why is that?
Can anyone shed some light on the subject? . . . Basically, I would just like to know two things . . .
1. Does it matter which .mts file I choose from the identical ones? I am putting them into multiAVCHD to save on an external drive and play on my PS3.
2. What would be the easiest way to get the .mts files in chronological order (besides having to sit there and watch them all and compare them to the full movie on the disc.)
Thanks in advance for any help!
