Hi,
am i the only one who sees there's a bug in the generation of the subtitles time codes???
SubRip097 generate an OK . sub, but DVD2SVCD DON'T!
I compare the two .sub files and they're diferent, only the subrip .sub file is OK.
Have you tested your svcd's?

You might do a search. There are several threads on this topic.

Personally, I've gone to using VobSub and permanent subs, but if I could go back to selectable subs I would.

Are you able to use SubRip097 in conjunction with DVD2SVCD? By that I mean, can you run DVD2SVCD up to some point, stop it, rip subs with SubRip097, substitute/rename files, do a crash recovery of DVD2SVCD, and continue? If so I'd be interested in hearing the details...

I have been trying to get selectable subs working for a little while now. The subs seem to rip fine (Unsure about the .sub file). The subs dont appear when played on Standalone. I have tried to Mux the subs by manually executing the SubMux commandline. The following is a short example of the results I get.

Well, you get the idea. Any advice? :)

To my dismay that did not work. I am still getting the same errors when I go to SubMux. I also notive that there are 3 .sub files generated, however my movie is only 2 disks.
