can i use mpeg-2 DXVA under Halii's or WMR9 renderer

hi, all tests made under latest pure codec n with kmplayer.

im xp sp3 user n im newbie this decoding work.

my questin is mpeg-2 videos dont using dxva out of "overlay mixer" renderer.

tested with cyerlink, elecard,intervideo 's dxva codecs.
this codecs rendering under %5 cpu use with overlay mixer. other renderers using nearly %30-40 .

What graphics card do you have?

Haali video renderer does not support DXVA. On Win XP, renderers that support DXVA are Overlay, VMR7 and VMR9 (including renderless). VMR9 supports the most advanced hardware deinterlacing techniques (afaik) and the renderless VMR9 has the possibility of high quality bicubic image scaling.

Overlay and VMR7 is quite light on CPU resources, but offer the least features. If your CPU can handle it, I recommend VMR9 renderless with bicubic scaling. I don't use kmplayer so it might be that it doesn't have VMR9 (renderless), in this case choose VMR7.
Concerning MPEG-2 decoders with DXVA support, I like Nvidia's purevideo decoder the most, it offers nice configuration options.

i have 9600m gt.

i want to use halii's renderer cause core avc's deinterleace working perfectly on halii's. other renderers deinterleace not working with core avc's :(
