I sell underwater VCD’s to customers of all nationalities. Most of them want to watch their VCD both on TV and in Windows Media Player. My stuff is shot in PAL, edited in Premiere, and then for American and Japanese customers I encode them an NTSC VCD in TMPGenc. The problem is that after the translation the NTSC VCD’s don’t look as good in Windows Media Player as the PAL ones. Can anyone tell me if your average Japanese person would have multi-system (i.e. NTSC and PAL) TV’s and VCD/DVD players? If so I’ll just sell them a PAL VCD with higher quality.
