Hello, I always found that in XP the best way to watch VC1 was to install Windows Media Player 11 and disable the MPC VC1 filter. I found that the WMDecoder DMO filter was the most reliable and also the best for frame serving in AVISynth.
Now I am running Windows 7 x64 7100, When I try to play something with VC1 in MPC I get a blank screen but no error messages. Also, in MEGui, when I use the script creater, it says that Graphedit timed out trying to make the connection.
VC1 seems to work fine in Windows Media Player 12.
Any suggestions ?
