I have d/l a movie which is dvd (avi), l have a perfect movie but lousy sound, is there anyway l can fix this before l burn it to a cd.

You perhaps downloaded a DivX movie.
Open your clip using Virtualdub. Click File -> Save WAV. Give a name and save your WAV file. Open this WAV file in a Sound Editor and correct it as desired.
When you say lousy sound, is the sound:
- too feeble,
- noisy
-has hissing noise throughout.

Hi Denish.
I have saved file as a wav. How do l correct it in sound editor. I can open the file in winamp or windows media. But when l do this all l get is about the first 15 seconds of sound.

Hmmm.. Looks like the sound part of your AVI is corrupted. There are some articles on Fixing Bad Sound on the following link. Check if that helps you.

You could try demultiplexing your clip first. Not sure how - GraphEdit perhaps.
