Still probs with subtitles...

My home DVD player supports subs in SVCD, I downloaded the test file described in the FAQ and I can see subtitles in both the languages.
I am trying to create a SVCD with DVD2SVCD with subtitles, but nothing happens.
Everything works fine in conversion process, but my SVCD has no subs.
Sometimes I can see a green line on the bottom of the screen (I suppose it's the subtitle) but only for a couple of secs.
Any suggestion?
I use SVCD subs (I imagine the ones on the test CD are SVCD subs), is this correct?

well... those image files in the Q&A are CVD or SVCD style. If CVD works, try CVD. If SVCD works, try SVCD. Maybe the problem is the position of the subtitles. Try to put 400 instead of -1. Verify also if those bmp files created during the conversion are not blank.
