In Doom9s Guide it is said, that you have to use 4.11. Is it also possible to use 4.12 with G-Knot?

There isnt any problem, its the same process.

4.12 is just 4.11 with p4 optimisation tho...or is that wrong? cant remember where i heard that

4.11 is 4.02 with p4 optimizations and some fixes and support for larger output resolutions.. 4.12 is mainly a bugfix release. sometimes my news archive comes in very handy ;)
