I really need to do this. My friends and I have competitions on how and who can do/make better looking quality videos but some how my friends' files got no information or settings records when I use MediaInfo to view the file's. The stuff like below:

Encoding Settings: CABAC=1.0, REF

etc etc.

I still can't figure out how come they can produce these but I have a feeling there is a way to erase those information manually.

Could someone please help me solve my issue, I am looking for a way to hide/erase those information.

I don't know how to delete them, but as far as I know only x264 creates those infos. Maybe your friend uses a different encoder? (Or he really did find a way to delete/not create them - http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1306769)

May be they are. The file I am looking at currently even has notes about the video. Which is of course added manually.

why don't you just ask your friend how he did it then.
