Dear all,
I'm having a problem:devil:

Every time I try to use the Autocrop function in Hidden Options, I get a window saying - Access is denied (please see the attached screenshot!)

I am trying to convert VOBs on a disc to AVIs. They are 4:3 ratio with a widescreen picture in letterbox. When they are AVIs, I want to retain this look, as I edit the scenes with standard 4:3 scenes. So I use Autocrop, as I have done many times before in the past.

I am not new to this, but this has just started to happen after a break of a few months from using the programme. I have updated to 2.55, but this hasn't helped.

I've never had this before and I've tried all I can think of, Please help...

Thanks.

Are you running AutoGK as an administrator? Is there any reason that directory would be write-protected?

Many thanks for replying.

I did think of that, and have Run as Administrator, but it's the same.
No, the files/video are definitely not protected.

I am actually trying to convert the same files I converted the last time I used the program, so I know they should work.

:thanks:

Problem sorted:):):)

For some reason I have to un-tick the "Correct Colour if Needed" box. I'm sure I always left this ticked in the past, but hey ho, it doesn't matter now.

I've also had to put the vob files on to the hard disc first, as it also wouldn't work straight from the DVD.

Bye for now:)

Hi,

This is the way AGK is supposed to work, decrypt (with an appropriate decrypting tool) to HD and start AGK..

Now that your movie is decrypted to HD, maybe it will work again as it should do? if not your installation may be scrambled, if so you may want to do a clean de-install re-install, see FAQ for this.

Did

Edit: I am tired of endless arguments, you want the final word, have it.

Actually AutoGK is supposed to be able to process direct from the DVD, but with newer copy protection schemes it often fails or gives problems in the final file. DVD Decrypter alone is not the answer with these disks.
