Hello, I've searched the forum but I didn't find a similar topic.

I will be moving to europe for a few months and I am interested in streaming my cable tv over the internet.

I have seen that on the market there are mainly two solutions
slingbox by sling media (http://www.slingmedia.com)
and Hava player at this site (http://www.myhava.com/)

I cannot comprehend however if it will be able to the following:
I want my family to be able to watch whatever they want back in the US while I 'm watching another or the same channel abroad. It seems that most solutions just allow you to watch one channel at a time. If I change channel remotely from abroad, then my family will have to watch what I am watching.

If someone has another solution or can provide me with information that I have mistakenly read the product pages on the prev mentioned website, please do.

I am not interested in any method that would require having a pc working 24/7, converting the tv signal and streaming with a software server (for example vlc, flash etc)

thank you all in advance.

I think AFN is available also for civilians if they're registered somewhere ... I'm not sure about the feasability of streaming video over internet for such long distances ...

You can do same with LocationFree box from Sony.
You're a lucky guy because the last version support NSTC framerate
and this version use last H264 codec.

About player, there is a box player (not only software like lot of solution)
which's available in Japan (it's support all framerate stream).
