I've just noticed that DivX7 supports MKV files. First of all, that's a HUGE leap forward, also with the fact that we have native mkv support on windows 7 now.
Now i have also noticed that with the DivX media player you can actually stream MKV content from a webserver. Has anyone tried this before? I'm trying to get this working locally, but anyone did this on a larger scale?
I would love to be able to stream MKV content from a webserver to my computer. That is a revolution people.
It looks like it's only on the roadmap and not REALLY supported... Has anyone tried to remux the mkv's into divx with their provided gui? I'm on a mac for another week so i can't use it. Would the subtitles work if streamed over the divxplayer?
