You can see at the beginning it jerks compared to the original. It does this every couple seconds.

P.S. It is 15fps because that is what the iriver U10 supports.

And I've attached the VDub processing settings.

Hi!

Do you have a question?

yes, how do I make 15fps smooth?

Down-sampling the framerate unavoidably destroys temporal information. Hence lowering the framerate will result in "jerky" motion.

The more you lower the framerate, the more "jerky" it will look. That's it.

It's difficult to see since there are no long, slow pans, but I do see the "skip" every few seconds. Instead of re-encoding to 15 FPS, you can just drop every other frame and lose no quality of image.

Instead of uploading to YouTube (which re-encodes a second time and doesn't show us the true original), use a hosting service to share a clip from the original. Rather than attach your log, include it wrapped in < code > tags.
