in the old StaxRip 1.1.1.1 i managed to get LeakKernelDeint working just by changing the feild options to
leakkerneldeint - leakkerneldeint(order=1,threshold=8)
it dosent seems to work with this one
any clues?

in the old stax 1.1.1.1 my avs look like this
AVCSource("L:somesource.dga")
leakkerneldeint(order=1,threshold=12)
Crop(2,0,-2,-0)
LanczosResize(1280,720)
Trim(7903,22215) + Trim(26850,48707) + Trim(53716,79527) + Trim(84036,93028)
and it did work....but after formating my pc and using the new beta stax i cant get i to work

Put it in the Avisynth plugins directory.
stax76

In StaxRip go to main menu -> Tools -> Directories -> Plugins
If you wonder why the borders of your screenshot are overcropped, try a dark window color and it will look better. Window Clippings is the only tool that can handle the shadow and probably non dark window colors.
I do manual crop on white background (maximized notepad) using the snipping tool that ships with Win 7. See one of my screenshots here: http://www.stax76.bplaced.net/files/applications/StaxRip/StaxRip.png

thx now that works :o
stax76
ill try that next time
in your bug thread as answer to my quistion
http://forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=1307484&postcount=201
you wrote this
@cbsjanten
You can try if when loading the script with VirtualDub the error also occurs and post to the AVCDGDec support thread.
it happens in VD too
i now realise its not a staxrip bug
in the ReadMeFirstAVC.html in AVCDGDec dir
Current Limitations
2. Fast random access requires frequent IDR frames, I frames, or recovery point SEIs.
Nr2 must be my problem ...dont know how and if i can fix that
But the allso state
3. DGAVCDec uses libavcodec.dll, so if that library cannot handle a stream properly, then DGAVCDec also will not handle it properly. The popular VLC player also uses the same code, so you can test your stream there to see if any problem encountered is due to libavcodec.dll or to DGAVCDec
vlc player handles it fine thu
i could look like i have to live with that
but used "copy frame" and paste it to noteblok, so when it chrases i know where to starte again
a bit more manuel work than with the 720p source i used to have
Still thx both of u for your help and development

Nr2 must be my problem ...dont know how and if i can fix that
That wouldn't cause the crash you showed in the cited post.
cbsjanten
23rd July 2009, 02:22
any idea what did then?
it happend after the source change from 720p to 1080i ... both in vista and now win7
ill do more test tomorrow

If you post a sample stream and give me the full script I can try to duplicate the problem and then fix it.
cbsjanten
23rd July 2009, 16:03
sample is her http://www.dvdguider.org/FILES/test_sample.ts
avs
AVCSource("L:\some_source.dga")
leakkerneldeint(order=1,threshold=8)
Crop(4,4,-4,-4)
LanczosResize(1280,720)
ConvertToYV12()
Trim(76,13094) + Trim(16351,38845) + Trim(41851,67970) + Trim(71225,80641)
it chrases when i search for the cut points....i might take u a wile with the small sample
the encoding gos fine after i manual put in the frames
but i have probs with the .ac3 file now.....it isent cut where i should be
im really feeling neewbe here...but with the old staxrip i did over 300 encodings and all of them was good
neuron2
23rd July 2009, 21:10
it chrases when i search for the cut points.... Searching in what application? Scrolling in DGAVCIndex or in VirtualDub? What exactly are you doing at the time of the crash?

it make the same error in VirtualDub

You mean you load the script in VirtualDub and scroll around on the timeline?
Please remember I can't read minds and I did ask you to tell me exactly what you were doing at the time of the crash.
Is the sample you uploaded big enough to allow me to use the posted script with the large trim values?
Have you tried with no filtering other than the AVCSource()?
cbsjanten
23rd July 2009, 23:48
i startet a post here
read from top and down to postcount 209
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1307484#post1307484
i then found out it isnt a staxrip bug
so hope we can continue that here, if you want to :)
The source file is 3.6 gb ... the sample is 335~ mb
if you want i can opload a bigger just give me the wanted size
Have you tried with no filtering other than the AVCSource()?
Yes both in vd and in staxrip.... same error ... BUT (just tryede it once thu, and staxrip dident crash) i can rebuild the stream with R rebuild and continue cutting
so my problem is
when i cut comercials out in staxrip i get this error
http://dvdguider.org/PICS/fejl.png
so i have to save every frame in a .txt (in case it crashes)
and when i have found them all (in that time staxrip gets that error serveral times so i have to restart the cutting 3 or 4 times
does this make any sence to you?
i know my english isent very good, but ill answer the best i can

I cannot help you with StaxRip. And you say it isn't a problem of StaxRip anyway.
You uploaded a stream. Tell me exactly how to make things fail using that with just VirtualDub. Obivously I can't use the script you posted as the stream is too short for the trims you specified.

i demuxed the sample with staxrip (DGAVCIndex)
open in vdub
L:\test_sample temp files\test_sample_Source.avs
use the slider to pull forward
then vdub crashes with this crashreport

i demuxed the sample with staxrip (DGAVCIndex)
then i get this .avs - test_sample_Source.avs
contaning this line
AVCSource("L:\test_sample temp files\test_sample.dga")
when i load that in vd and use the slider to move forward it crashes or it gives the same error as this one produced while cutting with staxrip
http://dvdguider.org/PICS/fejl.png
thats how i can reproduce the same error i get when cutting in staxrip
