Convert movies for mobile phone

I think this is the place to ask this, I'm looking for a good way to convert my movies so I can watch them on the go on my iPhone and Nokia N85 with the latter being the more important one.

The original nokia pc suite converts the video in a very bad, low quality way, looking for a smarter solution.

If you google you'll find thousands of pieces of software that convert everything in everything, including mobile phones.

I think you tried nero recode which has a profile for 3GPP under the Nero Digital profile. ;)
