Wireless HDMI is on its way ;)

You can however transmit many signals wireless, most people usually use a W-LAN media player that has HDMI to TV and WiFi to a PC/file server. Reports are that you should start with "n"-Standard, anything lower will not keep the pace ;).

Thanks ghitulescu.

That's why I wanted to broadcast from my PC, so I can playback any format (and with proper subtitles font/color/size) :)

Beamforming Wifi (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/beamforming-wifi-ruckus,2390.html):
"Forget 802.11n Draft 2.0. The future of video-capable WiFi depends on a signal-boosting technique called beamforming. We put the pioneers in this frontier through some real-world testing to find out which technology is going to change the wireless world"
