forced film

hi....im new to rippin and im using dvd2avi and i dont know whether or not to use forced film....my aspect ratio is 16:9..my frame rate is 29.970 fps and my video type is ntsc...can sumone tell me whether or not i use forced film...thnx

Press F5 and wait a little while. Then look at the statistics window and if it says FILM then you should use Force Film. If it says NTSC interlaced then you cannot use Force Film. If it says FILM xx% then first try Force Film. If it doesn't give you OK result then use the Decomb IVTC in AVIsynth.
