View Full Version : Anyway to auto select English in first play menu screen???

I have a DVD which has English and a few other languages.

"First play" shows this menu and one must select a language to continue.

I would like to automatically select English, hide this menu screen and have the DVD proceed with the subsequent English menus for episode etc.

Is there any way to do this using DVDRemake Pro or any other programs?

Use PgcEdit's PGC>Jump to PGC upon DVD insert. It will trace to the title and keep track of the buttons you've pressed and write them to the registers. So when the DVD starts it's as if you've selected English in a menu.

That's very easy to do in PgcEdit (http://download.videohelp.com/r0lZ/pgcedit/).

Find the menu in question (they're the ones with the number of buttons indicated in the left pane).

To check if you've got the right one, select a menu then hit the menu button on the toolbar to preview it.

Once you've found it, highlight the appropriate menu in the left pane, right click and select 'Kill PGC playback'.

It will ask you to choose a default button so pick the English one and Bob's your uncle. :)

All you need to do to bypass menu with DvdReMake is to right-click on needed button and select "bypass menu". Program will do all the needed modifications automatically.
