Hi Folks,

we´ve released AviSplitCalc 3.3 Pre-Release Version.

New Features:

- splitting in more than 2 parts
- saving preferences
- start nandub and let split it automagically
- supports all type of avi-files (mpg, mjpeg, divx3, divx4 ...)
- supports multi-audiostreams
- output of ranges in different format (keyframe, time ([01:34:23:040]) and ms for nandub-ranges)

Okay, now have fun with this little piece of software ... it was hard to code ;-)))

Thank you for saving me so much time, with this program. I like it :)

Anyway maybe, you can put a Browse button, to the DefaultPath to Nandub.exe. Am i able to split avi-s with VBR mp3 with this program?

Yes, I will implement a browse button in the final version which is coming soon.

Yeah of course you can split vbr-mp3´s!

well..Haven't tried it yet. But it looks promising...
I have to do some testings during the weekend, mostly with Xvid and SVCD, but I will try to look at your tool...

Now here it is, this is the program i was refering to in the other thread ! Cant download or test it from here, will do when i'm back ..... so that wasn't in the DivX.com forums ? I get old .... :(

Some feedback....
Cosmetic:
1. Make a Browse button next to the DeafultPath of the Nandub in the Options, cause it is hard to write it down, Browse would make it much easier...
2. The same with default working directory.
3. In the File Types (when you click Open or Save, at the bottom of each window) the text is in German. Ok - it's kinda similiar to English, but if your tool is in English, it should be in English too.
4. Of course STRG :) :D
Possible bug:
Start Nandub doesn't work well...
It starts up Nandub, gets it minimized and closes it straight away. It happens every time.

My system: WinXPPro, AMD 1.2 (Via KT133) and 512MB PC133 ram.
Hope this will help a little.

4. Nandub: Hmmm ... this happens if the "VirtualDub.jobs"-File has incorrect values. Try deleting this file, our program automatically creates it.

I can try to do something with the info file..
Although some parts are quite impossible to understand (:D), but will try to do something with it...
Have you been using BabelFish to tranlsate it ?????
I don't know German so I will try to do something with the version that is now...

I have tried to do some translation of the info file (if you can call a translation something from English to English:) ). Some parts I just can't get at all... Probably you should look for someone who know German and English well, so you can provide him with the original German file (I suppose it is written in German-??).

what can I say... You just need to do some little cosmetic changes (like I have mentioned before) and it will be a very cool tool.
Tried it on a couple of movies and it works ok. Automatically starts up Nandub for both parts of the movie, cuts it where it suppose to be cut and everything works just fine.

Auto-Avi-Join tool would be cool too. Lately I had to deal with one downloaded movie (in over 30 parts :eek: )and join it following doom9's suggestions, using Nandub. What a pain in the a$$....

here's a bit of my suggestions ;)

2 splitting modes :
size spliting
time spliting
(like i have 1400 mb movie and want it to be split by size (700 mb)
or i have a 2 hours movie and want it to be split by time (1 hour) )

select-tree for working dir :D

"split for two parts" button
(you have a perfect space for this between size selector and the go button ;) )

"all types" in file selection windows
(i have some files with .divx ext and would have to renema them just for splitting)

Attempting a split that's a little bit too large. Check your math.

works like magic
but not all the files are supported only the divx ones
the mpeg format which im not sure with what enc works is not
supported ,but the major one (divx that is) ,is the important one and it works great.

@Kovar: Hmmm ... strange thing and we have no clue how you get this amazing result ;) Perhaps you have split up an xxx-movie ??? Just kidding ... :D

Do you now how it is done ... divx3.11 or divx4x ?

What happens if you split it to other sizes?

Can you upload this avi or pehaps parts of it so that we can reproceed the failure?
