Hi,
great program, btw!
I've been sticking to this prog from 1.04 up and I am content with the results. The features and quality are unique.
But:
I pretty appreciated the internal "securtiy feature", and it's gone.
What do I mean?
I mean that if you chose a way too high bitrate in conjunction with a 2-CD@800-MB selection, and you had checked "Adjust the audio bitrate...", the prog would warn you when switching to "Conversion" with the message "Warning! Audio bitrate is below...Mbps". This clearly indicated that the (average?) bitrate was too high for 2 CDs. Now that this feature is missing, my movies are cut off in the end. I've carefully read about the bug concerning the cut size and bitrate overflow when using two language tracks, but I tried to rip The Sixth Sense tonight with only one track, and the same thing happened. About ten minutes are missing in the end. I used default values, except changing the CD size to 796 MB.
I've downloaded the build 2 pre 1, but before I try: is the problem gone now in that version? For me it makes no difference if I'm using one or more language tracks, the .m2v file always turns out to be too big.
Ok, there's the "manual calculation" way, but: where is the warning spoken of above? Have I misinterpreted it in a way that it's not restricting the bitrate to the extent of exactly two CDs? Can I get it back somehow? If I reduce the bitrate to the calculated value, the .bins are different in size, e.g. 800 and 150 MB. It once was so easy...
Appreciating your help in advance.
Greetings
