View Full Version : Different A/V sync in MPC vs. other playes?

Today I noticed the audio/video sync is different in Media Player Classic compared with DirectShow players (Media Player 6.4, Crystal Player) and VirtualDub (if that's a good reference for a/v sync). I'd say MPC has the audio shifted ahead by 50-100ms. This is the first time I notice this, don't know if something changed or it was always like that.

Has anyone else noticed something similar? Any idea how to tell what's the real sync?

MPC is a directshow player.

It also is, but I think what I meant was clear anyway?

Not that it matters, but I wasn't using external filters in MPC.
