Hello all. I'm using AutoGK to convert .vob files to play on my Archos. It is the best program I've found so far--videos are near perfect, except for one problem ... On the Archos, I'm losing a lot of details in blacks--blacks are all black. And also, color is too desaturated.

What I want to do is to keep using AutoGK, but lower the black level so I can see more detail in black scenes, and bump up the color/saturation a little bit. (Please don't suggest I use Archos controls to do this, because they basically don't work ...)

Remember, I'm new to video encoding, so try to keep it relatively simple for me ...

All advice greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Have you tried encoding with "Correct color if needed" ?
from hidden option accessible by Ctrl+F9 ...

Thanks for responding! Yes, I did try that. I think it is on by default ...

Any other suggestions?
