I have a DVD which plays fine and all.
However, when i demux the video using DGIndex it says that change in transition is detected and need fix D2V tool to fix it or do it at that time.

No matter whether i click to fix it now or later, the video that is supposed to be of length 55 minutes ends up being only 30 minutes. The audio demuxing happens to be fine though.

I tried using other demuxing tools like PcgDemux and got the same problem. Any ideas on how to fix that problem?

The transition warning is irrelevant. Fixing changes only the D2V file. The demuxed video is not changed.

How are you judging the length of the resulting M2V? Most likely that method is misreporting the length. Is there any actual missing video?

No, there is no actual missing video. But when i open the video, it says that the length of it is shorter.

it says that the length of it is shorter. "it" means what? I already asked you once.

Anyway, as I said, the demuxed video is fine. It's just the application you are using to open it that is misreporting the length. Don't worry about it.

No, actually, no matter what application i use it says the same. And when i use DGIndex to demux it, it says something about fixing it with D2V tool.

An M2V is raw and not in a container. That makes it difficult and often impossible for applications to determine the playing length. If all the video is there then don't worry about it. Is it causing you some problem?

As I said, the D2V fix functionality is irrelevant for the demuxed video.
