Here is the Project File
BBmpeg could not find the files needed 2 mux/cut like the audio file..ect so here is the project file.
Yes I ended up fixing the problem by manually adding the lines needed for BBmpeg just stating it wasent there 2 begin with.

Did you start from scratch or did you use Crash Recovery?

Once BBmpeg would not find the audio file I stopped the whole thing went and took a look at the dvd2svcd project file. Noticed it was missing some information on those lines. SO what I did was took a look at a project that had worked the other day and so i cut and paste the lines from the old one in to this one and it finished:)

With Dvd2Svcd Version Build 2 Pre 1 and 1.0.6 build 1 i had sync issues with the movie American Pie 2. Now I know MarkRb also stated he had that problem yesterday so today I tried this movie and also had the problem. I found a work around for that problem that will fix this movie. I left the movie files and everything else that Dvd2svcd Version Build 2 pre 1 had done now Dvd2svcd 1.0.6 build 1 had the same problem with sound so i just used the latest ripp i did which was with Dvd2svcd Build 2 pre. THen I Installed Dvd2svcd 1.0.5 build 4 and re ripped the audio. Then I used crash recovery mux/cut the movie and the sound matched up with the movie. SO for now that works.

Well ok Here goes I installed the DVD2Svcd 1.0.6 build one a clean install and also then i upgraded 2 the Pre 1 build well what happened is I tried American Pie 2 and had a few problems. But i've figured out the sync problem anyways so maybe it had 2 do with doing the clean install and not just going over the previous version
which would of been DVD2svcd 1.0.5 build 4. Anyways what the problem seemed 2 be atleast it fixed the sync in American Pie 2 havent tried it with another movie as i'm tired so ....if you go to DVD2svcd 1.0.5 build 4 look under the bbmpeg tab...you'll notice in the startup delays (ms) that they are all set 2 "180"...Well i went looked at that setting in the dvd2svcd 1.0.6 build 1 and pre build and both were set 2 "0" that would explain the sync problem but i'm still wondering why they are set at 0 or is that on purpose or something else? Anways the sync problem is fixed with that movie just set the video audio's back 2 "180":)

Make sure you don't use Forced Film on AP2, it has some sort of field change near the end that isn't detected correctly, this is also what could be messing up your synch.

Not sure why your saying dont use force film when my sync problems are solved when i just put "180" where 0" was in the bbmpeg window.
ANd as stated above if audio was ripped from version 1.0.5 Build 4 even if the video was done with "Force film " the pre build 1 the sync issue is also gone so had nothing 2 do with force film on in my case.

I was having sync issues with AP2. I installed build 1.06 latest pre release. I still had sync issues, but then I got the bright idea to test the mpeg files in WinDVD as opposed to media player. Well the sync problem went away. It was my dumb mistake and not a problem with DVD2SVCD. I have never had this happen to me before with Media Player, but even though it is completely out of sync in it the movie is fine on my stand alone. I did not have to change any settings and Forced Film was used.
I am getting that annoying click or Bump in the audio again though.
So I learned to don't trust Media Player use a SVCD software package even on the mpegs.

Yeah i've only done my checkes with PowerDvd myself so maybe that is causing the sync? Makes more sense then DONT put force film on LOL...
I will make a copy now and see how the sync is on the standard player verses PowerDVD.
ALso like 2 make a note that Mark and i have the same movie but he has the 4:3 i have the 16:9 version.
Where you getting the click or bump in the audio all the way through the movie? ANd i have no clicks or bumps in the movie that i can tell yet i'm going 2 go watch it now on the stand alone keep you posted

Ok done testing and the sync is still right on with no audio clicks
I Jumped around disk 1 and 2 since I only made a 2 disk svcd for this one:)
Now i wanna say i'm not saying its dvd2svcd problem or anyones problem i just wanted 2 have the issue solved and in my case the way 2 solve the sync was putting "180" in the boxes under bbmpeg with the pre build 1. I'm not trying 2 say every movie needs this i have no idea never tested another movie. But the version of AP2 needed it in my case.
On another note Dvd2svcd is the best program on the net in the world for helping us do our movies so yes i fully have and will support this program and i do support this program 2 the fullest the guy works harder then anyone i know thats why i've worked hard 2 try and give some answers of why this movie...was giving me problems.
THanks DVD2SVCD for everything:)
1 more thing i'm using XP Pro

"BBmpeg could not find the files needed 2 mux/cut like the audio file..ect so here is the project file. "
Confirm...XP
Also, CR does not refresh aspect ration, seems to default back to 16:9 instead of looking at the ifo again

I'm saying not to use force film because the initial 'scene' release of this particular movie used forced film and was subsequently messed up when the field change occured near the end of the movie.

Well thats a fine point... but i dont have that version your speaking of there is no field change at the end of this version. thats why i posted you back i figured you understood my point ..which was this version doesnt have the field order issue...and if it did i would be able 2 spot it.
