Tonight i try out the new DVD2SVCD 1.0.6 Build 2 Pre 1 with CCE Safe Mode option. CCE stops after 5 hours encoding (35 percent) the mpv. WinXP freezes at 6.20 o clock. Last time the mpv file was written 4.35 o clock.
I don't know what I can do anymore. Only waiting for DVD2SVCD supporting another CCE version or TMPGenc (running well).
Cheers

When you say "windows xp freezes" do you mean your system is totally locked and you have 2 reboot or shut down? or does cce just freeze on you?
Reason for me asking is if cce does fail=freeze it will not lock up Windows XP, unless you are having computer issues like hardware or software. I know it might seem everything else runs fine on your machine but when you use CCE is locks you up. Well cce is very intense on Memory And thats a fact and also hard on the system in general. But i can say i have xp so does a few others i know that have had cce fail and NEVER has it locked up there computers...Yes cce fails sometimes I find all my failers were when i messed with my Page file=Virtual Memory instead of letting windows do that if i leave that alone it never fails but even when it fails again it never locks up XP.

@Beergrave:
Why do you want to wait for a new release? Please correct me if I am wrong, but the release you are using already does support VFAPI and thus can be used with CCE 2.62, as stated in the readme-file. Maybe this way you can get rid of your problem.
