I have several video clips in mkv encoded in h.264. NONE of them open in megui. (only these encodes, other mkv's do work well and have always been working) I do not know how they were encoded. G spot doesn't give me much info...
Basically this is the problem, i load up the video in megui, icons appear bottom right as usual, but the avisynth video preview doesn't open. So i wait for 20 sec and i get the error Directshowsource: timeout waiting for graph to start.
I have no idea how to fix this. Any ideas... i probably forgot to add more info here cuz i'm very tired... I use CCCP and default settings in FFDshow... uhhmm... that's all i can think of right now...
:thanks:

Did they come with any type of DRM? If not then you might try using mkvtoolnix (http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/win32/mkvtoolnix-unicode-2.9.5-setup.exe) to extract the h.264 video stream and the audio. It might be just a corrupt container. Just remux them into a new container...

no drm. I tried demuxing it and opening the video stream itself (h264) in megui. No Luck. I'll try remuxing
EDIT: Remux does the trick ;)

Hey guys! Did you even check that site? They sell Star Trek recorded from cinema :) I'm surprised why this thread has not been locked yet :)

Are you joking???? Legit? And you obviously believe in everything what you see in internet , right? Like a 10 years old baby :) Since when pirated movies recorded by camcorders in cinemas are legal? And you also paid them for this pirated crap???? You are hopeless and naive! Latest movies for 1-3 buks?!?! In Xvid, Hahaha.....

Well... i did not say i believed those people. I said that people reviewed it as legit. It's not like i'm buying entire movie collections. I downloaded 3 movies from there in blu-ray for a physics project (find the bad physics in a movie... sigh) I only payed 20 bucks without actual credit card info. I used paypal's plugin to generate a temp card number etc.
But this is totally offtopic dude.
It was probably the container. I remuxed the vids, it's all good ;)
