Re-encode from your original disc instead.

If your .WMV file contains VC-1 video, this latter can be losslessly re-wrapped in a .TS with TsMuxer, or in a .MKV with mkvmerge.
Windows Media Audio is supported by the Matroska container, but not by the transport streams.

you can just remux it to *.mkv (mkvmerge) if you don't need any quality and filesize loss. But if you do, there are some harder solutions

Doesnt work with both, Mkvmerge and TSmuxer.
They do not recognize it.

Hi!

According to WikiPedia:Most commercially sold WMV HD titles are copy protected using Microsoft Windows Media DRM technology.Based on this, I'd ask you a couple of questions:

1) What is the title of the disc?

2) What software and procedures did you use to "rip" (remove the copy protection and copy to hard drive) the disc?

3) Does your "ripped" version play properly on your PC?

4) Why, in response to the suggestion by "Inspector.Gadget", do you say that you're unable to re-rip your original disc?

I re-ripped now it in .ts and works very good.
I was unable to re-rip because I gave the disc to a friend to watch it.

Thanks for the support
