I'm encoding Ultraviolet but the source has some weird color rainbow flickering going on that is pretty distracting. I'm sure this isn't intended so I'd like to know if I can do anything about it. Any possible reasons why it is like this are welcome too..I'm just interested in knowing why and how I can fix this :)
So if I could apply any filters let me know..
It's also worth noting that in these messed up color sequences the area of the weird flickering sometimes resembles an interlaced source..while this source is 25fps progressive PAL. Look at the gun and the chin in the 2nd and 3rd screenshot.

What is your source material? A commercial DVD would not have cross-chroma like that.

Source material is Retail PAL untouched DVD. Although it's not my source, was ripped by someone else (but obv from a commercial DVD)
