View Full Version : Problem converting IDX/SUB to SRT

Tried using SubResync 2.11 or 2.23 for this as many posts recommend.

It works BUT... the OCR learning phase throws up whole words rather than just single characters (or small combos thereof), making this an impracticably long task.

Any clues..??

Try using Subrip (http://zuggy.wz.cz/dvd.php) for such problematic bitmap subs.

I did try it and also v1.30 but I could not see how it could do the conversion. With SubResync it is obvious. Could you give a few steps as to how to use SubRip for this purpose?

Yesterday, I converted an IDX/SUB to .sup with 'SubtoSup'.
Opened the .sup with 'DVDSubedit' (it asks to open the .ifo - which I cancel) and then OCRed it to .srt.

Thanx, but must be some prob with my IDX/SUB.

Created SUP OK but when loaded into DVDSubedit, the display of content is clearly corrupted.
