What do you mean by an "FPS drop"?
What format and encoding parameters did you use to make the MKV file?

Use Overlay Mixer instead of EVR Custom, and see whether frame dropping remains.

i get frame drops too (very noticeable in panning scenes)
try using evr custom with optimal renderer settings, it worked for me

only Reclock and a matching refresh rate can make the dropped frames go.

i mean just i can see fps drops ( decreasing of fps ,especially for panning scenes ) .
i just download .mkv files , i dont encode . but i am sure , other users have not got this trouble with same .mkv files.
i dont want to use overlay mixer instead of EVR, because EVR has better picture quality.
