first pass: stats file in the codec config is where the stats are written too
2nd pass: first pass stats file: same as above
2nd pass stats file: gknot scaled stats file

is that about right? first time I encoded I didn't really think about this... but the 2nd time I suddenly got very unsure if I was doing the right thing

Heh, no not really...I'm afraid I might miss something! ;)

My handle harkens back to the college days. There's EE in sleep, but there's no sleep in EE.
