hi ^^
I'm wondering how to get Mencoder to burn vobsub subtitles on the movie ??
i tried using the command " -vobsub " but it didn't work ?
I'm using an app called AVI2PMP here's the download package

am I messing something ??

Use -sub /path/to/file

I just tried , It didn't work
It only works with text subtitles like .srt , I want it to work with Ripped DVD subtitles ...
... pls help ??

Not that I think it will work, but you could try using mkvmerge to create a mkv file with the subtitles included and see if mencoder can handle it. I doubt it though.

isn't there any easier way ... cuz it pains in the butt when converting whole TvShow ??

Maybe not easier and quite hassle actually but If vobsubs works OK on mplayer you can feed video output to mencoder.
mkfifo pipe
mplayer -vo yuv4mpeg:file=pipe -ao null file -sub sub
mencoder pipe -cache 5000 +other stuff
