Hi all,

to make all my DivX Files feature AC3-Sound, I use GKnot to create a AVI-file (a AVI with no sound) and later on I use Nandub to merge that AVI together with the AC3-track my ripping program had extracted previously.

My question:
Is it possible to instruct GKnot to use an existing AC3-file for the AVI it's about to create, so that I would have the same result as with my current method (a DIVX-AVI featuring AC3 sound)? If yes, could one of you perhaps write a little GKnot-guide for this (and please explain it, as you would to a child :) .

Thanks!

go to bitrate tab
in Audio A puch open and select .ac3 file (created with DVD2AVI)
select the 1x ac3 option (next to the video size)

when you will be in the LAST window (the one with start encoding button) go to audio tab and select just mux

thats all
i hope you get it
:)
